Andrea Gluck
Eyewear & Accessories Division ChairAndrea Gluck is Co-President of Eyewear Design Ltd. Headquartered in NY, the company has been in business for over thirty years designing and importing eyeglass frames for the United States and international markets. Andrea joined Eyewear Design (then called Solitaire Designs) in 1975 and has worked her way up the ranks to her current position. The company currently holds the licensing agreements for some of the well-known frame lines of Pierre Cardin, Perry Ellis, Elizabeth Arden, Bill Blass, Jill Stuart, The Flintstones, Scooby Doo and New Balance.
Currently Eyewear & Accessories Division chair, Andrea has also served within The Vision Council on the Show Committee, Marketing & Communications Committee and as chairman of the board.
For her commitment to fostering the growth of women in the industry and leading by example, Andrea has been named to Vision Monday’s Top 50 Women of the Year List and received the Pleiades Award from the Optical Women’s Association.
Andrea and her company have been involved in many optical philanthropic organizations for decades, including The Vision Council, the Optical Women’s Association, VOSH, UJA Federation – Optical Division, Prevent Blindness America, The New York Children’s Vision Coalition, Gift of Sight (Lions Club International), American Liver Foundation and Lighthouse International (Blind Services).
Andrea is also a full time wife to her husband of 30 years, Benny, and mother to their two daughters, Abby & Erin.
